Aids to Navigation Event-Step Logistics Model - ANGEL

The ANGEL simulation model was developed to evaluate alternative buoy tender designs of differing characteristics in realistic operational environments.

A tender's activities are broken up into several processes: docked transit, anchored, or working buoys. The process the tender undertakes depends on a series of decision variables (e.g. tender location, current tender state, sea conditions, and buoy maintenance schedule).

Inputs include polygons outlining navigable waters for the tender within the region being simulated, external event weather files regarding wave height and visibility for the region, tender characteristics, port data, and buoy data.

Outputs include a MOE report, animated graphics, and raw data to be used in the Postprocessor.
